What are Coconut Alkyds?
Alpolac`s eco-friendly Short Oil Coconut Alkyd resins are its strong and primary products. Manufactured to meet global quality standards and competitive pricing. Coconut alkyds are a range of tough resinous products formed by reacting polybasic organic acids or anhydrides with polyhydric alcohols in the presence of coconut fatty acid or the monoglycride state of the refined coconut oil. Kemwerke uses only the freshest raw materials for its short oil coconut alkyd products. There is a vast source of coconut oil in the Philippines owing to the vast tracks of land planted with coconut trees. The tropical climate of the Philippines makes it more favorable to grow coconut trees.
Alpolac has a range of Coconut Alkyd grades that can be used by the paint formulation to specific requirements.
