What are Polyol Resins?

Polyol Resin is a high molecular weight highly crosslinked polymer with hydroxyl functionality. These resin grades are capable of reacting with an isocyanate to produce durable polyurethane types of coatings. Coatings made from the rich lauric chain of the coconut oil, exhibit excellent gloss and gloss retention, and has an extreme resistance to yellowing.

Depending upon the formulators end requirement, there are various grades of Kemwerke polyol resins, each grade has a specific property for the intended application.
